Now, OTM World is able to provide resources like “Light Keeper’s Guide”, “Friendship Evangelism 101”, and “My Daily Armor” to help members develop their spiritual life, along with workshops to teach them skills to serve the Lord, such as Design, Worship and Prayer. OTM has also planned three events in OTM World. Through giving announcements in OTM World, members will be able to receive the news quicker and respond quickly. Please pray that the events will be held with abundant grace, so that the members can receive strength and power through the gathering! 

Not only resources and workshops are posted in OTM World, but also Daily Bible Verses are posted to keep the members engaged everyday! There are also chapter groups set up for each chapter, to help the members feel welcomed and connected.

Thank the Lord for guiding everything to be done. OTM World should be a pleasing present to the Lord where the teens gather in the love of Christ. Therefore, please pray for OTM World. Pray that it will truly built a community of Christ among the teens, and give abundant blessings to members! 

“I would like to start by telling you that this trip was a surprise, but it was through the grace of God it become possible.

I am happy for the opportunity to go to Buenos Aires and see a different reality from the one I had been seeing.

While I am here, I began to see some new aspects, but the company of God is still present and has comforted me greatly. At the beginning, it wasn’t easy for me to be in a different country. On the other hand, it was when the promises of God became more realized. In the midst of sadness, it gaves me courage.

I have the desire to continue working with OTM, I have faith that a volunteer can be established in this nation.”

By the end of July and the beginning of August, greater interaction was achieved thanks to the established plan, OTM Colombia seeks to continue work diligently and extend the kingdom of God.

In the plan OTM Colombia established times of fasting and prayer in order to strengthen their relationship with God and affirm the work in the teen mission. From the beginning of the year 2022, the plan was implemented, which has produced a strong impact on the life of each young person who agrees to receive Bible studies.

OTM Colombia prays that the clear goals and visions will lead them to reach every young people who are thirsty for the words of God.

We ask for your prayers so that OTM Colombia continues to grow in faith, in love and in the number of teen believers.

OTM student departments are preparing the workshops for their respective departments. Already, the departments of education, design, prayer, and worship are preparing the special workshops. They will focus on themes such as the “OTM Curriculum”, “How to make Instagram images for OTM”, “What is Prayer?”, and “How to prepare worship for service?” respectively.

The goal of these videos is to make the members feel more connected and inspired. OTM aims to do this by having the teen leaders make the video lessons. The “Teen to Teen” teaching method can help new members feel more related to and inspired to grow in their faith so that they can also give lectures in the future. This can help to highlight potentials everyone has.

As student leaders are growing to educate and help raise other teens, it shows a new level of growth for OTM. Please pray that God can use this to empower new teen members, so that they can grow and serve  for God’s Kingdom from a young age.

They were taught from Luke 15, the parable of the prodigal son. They shared graceful reflections. One of the OTM members shared his testimony of God’s work in his life as he got good marks in his board exam.

One teen, in her reflection shared, “God loves us so much, through this parable I got to know that it is very important to receive God’s love so that we can spread the love to others.”

Another teen attendee said, “It was a blessed time and I really want it to be conducted on regular basis, I learnt about God’s love that he loves us beyond our sins. When we come and open our heart to him, he forgives us and accepts us. 

May the teens grow closer to God and join Bible studies regularly. Kindly keep them in your precious prayers. 

OTM Mongolia plans to encourage OTM members to serve. They have also started to participate in praise and online evangelism. 

Please remember them in your prayers to grow in the word of Lord more and to use their talents for the Kingdom of God.

It was a time when new members and all OTM South American chapters could gather in harmony to listen to the words preached. They looked at Matthew 13 together. They also held a time of sharing and activities for online members. God poured out abundance and grace during this time so that many teens could be touched. OTM South America plans to hold these retreats once a month to help with evangelism and to unite all the online Bible study students together.

Please pray that future retreats can go smoothly and that many teens can attend. May the Holy Spirit be with all of South America and all the OTM members there.

Having concluded studies of Acts 1-3 the day before, the teens listened to the sermon on Acts 4 during Sunday Service, witnessing how God has truly prepared everything and is so precise in His plans. Through this amazing arrangement, they were able to study all of Acts 1-4. 

Afterward, they had Closing Service from John 14:16-18, “I will not leave you as orphans.” 

For lunch, the teens enjoyed a great feast at a local buffet. With fulness in both body and spirit, they headed towards Nathanael Cole Park for testimony and activities.

Teens shared: “Usually during prayer meeting I would cry a lot and be really sad, but coming here, I felt how the Holy Spirit kept pushing back my tears and pushing me to be joyful.” “I don’t really understand what happened to me, but I can definitely say there has been a change in me. This time coming to Elim Center felt really different from the other times I came, and I testify this retreat was life-changing.” “I am really amazed to see how much EC has changed over the years. I used to come very often with my mom and the place was so broken down we couldn’t even enter some of the rooms. But now this place is so nice and a place where the Holy Spirit works so powerfully. I am so happy to see God working like this.” “This is my favorite retreat.” 

For activities, teens went swimming, boating, and playing in the sand. They enjoyed the good sun, wind, and water that God has blessed them with. The lake was filled with the shouts of joy, loud singing, echoing laughter , and more grace sharing of the teens. Even misadventures did not stop them from having a good time, and the Holy Spirit made sure that even the downturns could be forgotten, ignored, or overturned for good. 

Mongolia Welcomed Two Registered Members

Two teens joined OTM as members. They have been studying Romans and the Four Spiritual Laws with the Mongolian church leader every day and they join services regularly. OTM prays that they may be raised as faithful disciples of Jesus who will help build God’s Kingdom.

Mongolia Received First Newcomers of June

OTM Mongolia received two newcomers who have received a deep understanding of God and His existence through Romans 1. Both of these members seem interested in continuing Bible studies, so OTM asks for prayers for them to understand God’s Word and His love.

Mongolian Newcomer Invites Friends to Bible Study

An OTM Mongolian new member evangelized her school friends. They studied Romans 1 with the OTM Mongolia leader and they shared about their situation and understood the sin of man. He schedules to study the Bible every day, so OTM asks for prayers for him to receive God’s love deeply and study the Word well.

Mongolian Group Bible Study of 5 Newcomers

Through God’s grace and mercy, five newcomers and two members joined for a ground Bible Study, studying Romans 1 with the OTM Mongolian leader. These newcomers have learned of God’s existence and may these teens be kept in your prayers so that they may come for Bible Studies again.

Through witnessing and experiencing God’s grace firsthand through the abundance of newcomers in Mongolia, OTM wishes that teen mission can spread globally so all teens can come to accept Christ and that Mongolia can continue evangelizing and holding Bibles Studies.

Outreach Programs

Churches and chapters can hold outreach programs in order to evangelize teens. Outreach programs can be as simple as group Bible Studies with snacks for after the message and are very helpful to bring teens in. Other ideas churches can have are teen night fellowships, clubs, some sort of skill training (such as design, music, writing), etc. With school out, most teens have handfuls of time to spare that they want to use somewhere. They are more open to trying new things, doing activities, traveling, etc. Churches and chapters should try to make the programs interesting and fun.

Discipleship Training

Discipleship training, as the name implies will be offered to those who are already members of OTM and the church. The program can last for a full day, or range throughout several days. But the program should offer a platform for teens to intensely listen to messages and actively serve the church.

Importance

Many teens are now suffering from anxiety, depression, and loneliness, alongside other pressing issues such as drug abuse, identity crises, sexual promiscuity, and more (although these issues have become less prominent). There are many lost, broken teens in this world who need to know that they are not alone, that they are loved, and that they can be powerfully used by God. Many teens spend a lot of time online, but there is limitation to online gathering, which is why OTM wants to bring them onsite. Therefore, in the season of vivacity, OTM wishes to reach out to teens and to bring them onsite to experience community through other believers and teens.

Overall, churches and chapters should take this as an opportunity to outreach to teens and raise current members. OTM HQ will also give more guidance about this. More materials will be made so that chapters and churches can implement this easily.
